Travel to Limerick Racecourse

Limerick Student Race Day has been the biggest student social events for many a year, bringing together thousands of students from across Ireland for a day of excitement at Limerick Racecourse. With live horse racing, music, and celebrations, the event offers the perfect mix of sport and socialising. Whether you’re there to experience the thrill of the races, enjoy live DJ’s, the thrill of the carnival.

Beyond the races, the electric atmosphere makes it a standout event in the student calendar. Expect live DJs and entertainment throughout the day, a best-dressed competition where you can showcase your style, and plenty of opportunities to connect with students from universities across Ireland. Tickets must be purchased online in advance, as there will be no other opportunity to get a bus ticket. 

How to get to/from there 

Reserve your seat on a coach from Maguire Pitches, UL online for a hassle-free journey straight to the event. Approved direct coach service can Only be booked online.

Wristbands will be issued at pick-up location, will be required for travel to Arthur’s Quay, Limerick City

• Bring Your E-Ticket: Required for both event entry and bus travel. 

• Dress to Impress: Student race days are known for fashion, so take part in the best-dressed competitions. 

• Pre-ticket scanning: Avoid queues by getting there as soon as the gates open. 

• Multiple collection times: Different time slots are available.  

• Keep Hydrated and Eat Well: Food vendors will be available, but it’s a long day, so plan ahead.
