18 lucky charities from the Mid-West have been drawn from a pool of 100 for a chance to win a twenty thousand euro top prize.
The JP McManus initiative will see the 18 charities each nominated to a runner in this year's BoyleSports JT McNamara Munster National.
Should there be less than 18 runners there will be a further draw to determine which charities are entered into the race but each charity will still be guaranteed at least a one thousand euro prize.
